First-year Learning Communities

We want to help you build a community and make connections at the U. As a new student, you can be a part of a cohort. A group of students working through the same curriculum.

You can also study in a living/learning or academic learning community, a group of students interested in the same topics, working through courses in the classroom, and participating in extracurricular activities outside of it. It's a unique way to maximize your college experience!

Living Learning Communities (LLCs)

Living Learning Communities (LLCs) are an on-campus housing option that allows students with common courses to live in a community of students with similar academic interests.
